3.5 Kinds of Students to Attend A School

Section 53 – (1) (e) the kinds of students to attend that school

Þ  Minimum Age

The standard requires that a schools will provide details regarding the kinds of students to attend that school.

 

3.5.1 Details of Students' Ages

The school should documents the age range of the students to be enrolled (or are enrolled, in the case of re-registration or change of registration) at the school.

3.5.2 Catering for the Age Range

The school should provide evidence of how the level of schooling, curriculum and facilities are appropriate for the age range of the students and 'kinds of students' (see below) enrolled.

3.5.3 Details of "Specified Kind of Student'

The school should provide documentation for any 'specified kind of student' for whom the registration is being sought under Section 54-(d) (for example, distance education students, boarding students, overseas full-fee paying students).

3.5.43 Minimum Age

The standard determined for the minimum age for a student enrolled at a registered school is 4 years of age at 1 January in the first year enrolled
